About

The spaces between endings and beginnings can be difficult and lonely places. But they don’t have to be!

Death and life support.

Heather Hogan

Leading with curiosity and empathy, my mentorship aims to support clients in finding peace and joy in the face of all of life’s challenges. The way we live is the way we die, and as one of my greatest teachers, Alua Arthur says, “What do I have to do in order to live and die gracefully?”

When we embrace the fact that this life ends, we finally begin to live life fully! Using time honored mindfulness practices, informed by eastern philosophy and western psychology, I guide my clients into experiencing less stress, more joy and deeper connection to themselves and others.

As a Life Mentor I have provided professional services to organizations like Bustle, Morgan Stanley and Modern Om, supporting teams and individuals in finding a greater sense of purpose in their daily life.

As a Death Doula I have provided companionship, spiritual guidance and practical support for dying individuals and the care teams. I have been featured on a few podcasts including Securely Attached and How To Be Human offering education for end of life processes.

Death Differently, an educational documentary film series is an intimate look into uncommon and alternative experiences related to end of life. In partnership with the New York based production company, Redins, our work seeks to shine a new light on death and dying in America.
